Midfielder Conor Gallagher received criticism from former Chelsea assistant manager Jody Morris after receiving a red card during the Blues’ 3-2 victory over Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.
Gallagher’s careless challenge and poor decision-making that almost cost Chelsea all three points against Brighton at Stamford Bridge drew criticism from Morris.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team was in trouble as Gallagher was sent off for two yellow cards in the latter moments of the first half.

“This is Conor Gallagher’s second yellow card. He is putting out a ridiculous challenge, Morris said to Sky Sports.
“Despite the fact that he has already received a yellow card, you should always try to maintain his zeal and competitiveness on the pitch.
“Conor has taken a dive when it wasn’t absolutely necessary. It’s a second yellow to me. Conor made a bad choice by making that tackle.
