EPL: After defeating Chelsea 3-1, Arsenal suffers an injury setback

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has acknowledged that he is concerned about Gabriel Magalhaes’ health.

In the last minutes of their 3-1 victory over Chelsea on Tuesday night, Gabriel was substituted due to what appeared to be an injury.

Despite his best efforts, the Brazilian center back was finally replaced by Rob Holding.

“He wasn’t at ease. It is remarkable for Gabi that after trying for 10 or 15 minutes, he was unable to continue.

Arteta told reporters after the game, “So, a big concern about that because normally he’s not one that wants to leave the pitch.”

William Saliba, Gabriel’s first-choice center-back partner, is already absent for Arsenal because of a back issue.
