Enugu Governor reviews the work of civil servants during his first 200 days in office

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has expressed his happiness with the improved work output of state employees during the last 200 days of his leadership.

At the 2023 Enugu State Civil Servants Week gala finale on Friday in Enugu, Mbah delivered the praise.

The governor guaranteed state employees that under his leadership, the benefit package will improve.

In order to develop a sustainable economy, establish the state as a hub for investments, and realise the projected $30 billion gross domestic product, he said, the focus has now moved from work attendance to productivity.

Mbah praised the employees for their professionalism and for demonstrating a sense of teamwork and cooperation that aligned with the administration’s vision.

Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, the Secretary to the State Government, was the governor’s representative.

He stated that the administration’s 200 days of accomplishments were made possible by its tenacity, cooperation with the authorities, and delivery-focused mindset.

“The governor would like me to remind you that we will not be able to accomplish our goals without your calibre of professionalism.

In light of this, he requested me to remind you that during the next four years, the professionalism he has witnessed in his first 200 days in office should continue to be displayed, he said.
