The broadcasting division of Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Emmanuel TV, will be transitioning from the DSTV cable platform to the Free to Air (FTA) Decoder. This decision was made after the channel was removed from the DSTV platform on January 17, following allegations that were deemed unsubstantiated by Emmanuel TV viewers.

As a result, many fans of Emmanuel TV have already switched from DSTV to HD decoders. DSTV claimed that the viewership of Emmanuel TV was no longer substantial enough for them to continue hosting the Christian channel.

However, SCOAN disputed this allegation and requested empirical evidence from DSTV, which was allegedly not provided.

This led viewers to believe that the decision to remove the channel was premeditated. Prior to this incident, Emmanuel TV had faced criticism for broadcasting content that some individuals found offensive to their mental health.

The church clarified that these individuals were members of the LGTBQ community who had sought and received deliverance during SCOAN’s services.

During their Sunday service, SCOAN announced the migration from DSTV and other pay cable platforms, urging all Emmanuel TV viewers worldwide to switch to the Free To Air FTA High Definition HD Decoder, as well as platforms such as Apple TV, FireTV stick, Roku TV, and Google TV.

These platforms can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play, offering viewers a more versatile, convenient, and reliable way to access Emmanuel TV.
