Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party LP, stormed the Court of Appeal in Abuja to witness the court’s ruling on an application by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to modify the court’s order requiring the inspection of materials used to conduct the presidential election on February 25.
Obi was escorted into the courtroom by a procession of party chieftains, including Chief Victor Umeh, the senator-elect for Anambra Central.
A entourage of attorneys, including Senior Advocates of Nigeria SANS, escorted the presidential candidate into the courtroom where she is scheduled to contest the results of the February 25 presidential election.

Julius Abure is also a member of the presidential candidate’s entourage in addition to Chief Victor Umeh, the National Chairman of the Labour Party.
In the meantime, a judgement on the INEC’s request is awaiting from the Court of Appeal panel chaired by Justice Joseph Ikyegh.
The court will also make a decision regarding the All Progressive Congress’ (APC) and President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s requests for permission to conduct a similar review of the election-related documents utilised for the February 25 presidential election.
