Election in Oyo: Makinde defeats APC’s Folarin in voting unit

Teslim Folarin, a candidate for governor from the All Progressives Congress (APC), lost his voting district in Idi Ose in Oyo State’s Ona Ara Local Government Area.

In comparison to Governor Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Folarin received 89 votes.

Just 6 votes were cast for Adebayo Adelabu, the Accord Party’s candidate for governor.

With strong support from both the young and the old across the state, Makinde is predicted to win.
