The Labour Party’s Mr. Peter Obi has been asked by the Federal Government of Nigeria to explain his position about a leaked audio recording of a conversation he allegedly had with Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide.

According to the tape, which was made public by an online site, Obi and Oyedepo were allegedly speaking.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, asked Obi to clarify what he meant when he described the discussion that was released “a phoney doctored audio call” when speaking to the media on Monday in London.

If it’s phoney, it never happened, according to Mohammed. But, if it’s doctored, it suggests that although the discussion did take place, it was altered.

“[Peter] Obi has to speak out and explain if the discussion actually happened or whether it occurred but was doctored.

“If it was altered, what exactly was altered?

Is it the “Yes Daddy” part of it or the part where he claimed it was a holy war? Is it the beginning, middle, or end?
