The Igbo Umunna have been given information by Aloy Ejimakor, Nnamdi Kanu’s special counsel, on what to concentrate their resolutions on during the ongoing Igbo Day celebrations.
The resolutions, according to Ejimakor, ought to condemn Kanu’s ongoing arrest as well as the shameful militarization of Igboland.
He emphasised the importance of both resolutions to the stability and peace in the Southeast.
“The #Ndigbo ‘Umunna’ meeting now taking place in Owerri needs to pass resolute resolutions condemning the continuous arrest of MAZI NNAMDI KANU and the shameful militarization of Igboland.
“These two issues stand alone among current concerns. They are essential to Southeast’s calm and tranquilly.
“Lack of patriotism among security forces who are trained to view a particular ethnicity as a threat frequently fuels ethnic cleansing.
“The ongoing military operations (or retaliations) in Southeast frequently target innocent people while pretending to be battling crime. Indeed,” he tweeted.
