Eid ul-Fitr: Obi urges supporters to continue focusing on peace in the spirit of Ramadan
The former governor stated that the Obi-Datti team continues to pray that the difficulties encountered would be resolved without causing more harm to the economy, the country, or the interests of the nation.
Even as Ramadan is observed, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has urged Muslims and his followers to stay committed to stability and the rule of law.
In a message posted on his official Twitter account, Mr. Obi also reassured Nigerians and the OBIdients that the fight for a New Nigeria is well underway.
The former governor of Anambra State claimed that his staff had refrained from responding directly to the myriad distracting accusations and false reports made against Datti Baba-Ahmed and himself because Lent and Ramadan are cherished times.
The Obi-Datti team continues to pray that the difficulties will be addressed without causing more harm to the economy, the country, or the interests of the nation, he added.

The accusation of treason for seeking the due process is the most serious of all offences. The fact that state capture offenders and their proxies continue to target Datti and I, as well as the Labour Party and the OBIdient Family, is now widely known.
