Eid-El-Fitri: Akpabio sends well wishes to Muslims for a successful Ramadan

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has extended his warm congratulations to the Muslim community in Nigeria on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio expressed his heartfelt joy and celebration alongside his family, the people of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, and the entire Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous celebration of Eid El Fitri, while also offering prayers for their heart’s desires to be granted by the Almighty God.

Akpabio emphasized the importance of unity and prosperity in Nigeria, urging Muslims to continue offering prayers for the country’s peace and progress. Recognizing Islam as a religion of peace, he encouraged Muslims to approach God with sincerity in their prayers, assuring them that their supplications would be answered.

Akpabio called upon the Muslim community to pray for their leaders and for the peace and unity of Nigeria, expressing his belief that through their collective prayers, the nation would overcome its current challenges.

Furthermore, Akpabio encouraged Muslims to embody the teachings of Islam by radiating peace and demonstrating love and care for the less privileged, following the example set by Prophet Muhammad.

He emphasized the importance of spreading the message of peace that Islam preaches, not only within the Muslim community but also to the wider society.
