On Thursday, Augustine Eguavoen – the interim coach of Super Eagles – met with two ex-coaches of Nigeria’s national football team: Jose Peseiro and Gernot Rohr.
Abidjan was the location of the meeting held at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) coaches symposium.
Among the panelists chosen by CAF to attend the two-day event is Peseiro, who guided Nigeria’s Super Eagles to the finals of Ivory Coast’s 2023 African Cup of Nations.

The individual from Portugal used social media to express their gratitude towards CAF.
On X, Peseiro expressed his pride to be a part of the CAF Coaches Symposium in Abidjan this week.

The program is being attended by 50 coaches from CAF’s member associations.
During the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the performance of national teams will be evaluated at the CAF coaches symposium.
