Nigerians have faith in Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun’s ability to defuse and control the country’s security issues, according to Chairman of the Police Service Commission Solomon Arase. This trust is based on Egbetokun’s vision for the Force, leadership, and integrity.
Although he expressed his congratulations to the IGP on his confirmation as the substantive Inspector General of Police, the PSC Chairman pointed out that the IGP’s unwavering devotion and strong sense of responsibility since his appointment by the President on June 19, 2023, have been demonstrated by this confirmation.

This was stated in a statement released by the Police Service Commission’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani.
As to the statement, the IGP is depending on his military expertise, which is bolstered by his impressive academic background.
“Your tour of duty will undoubtedly be phenomenal and illustrious, and I am confident that you will continue to make significant impacts in the Nigeria Police Force.”
“This has contributed significantly to promoting the cordial relationship between the Commission and the Nigeria Police Force and has assisted in reestablishing a peaceful and mutually beneficial partnership between these two essential government institutions.”
