EFCC Explains Why Its ‘X’ Account Is Down
EFCC explains why its official ‘X’ account is down, addressing concerns and outlining the reasons behind the disruption.
The EFCC has stated that their ‘X’ account is not currently accessible as it undergoes an upgrade to improve its worldwide capabilities.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson for EFCC stated that the update process requires a downtime.
Oyewale stated that the X account is currently unavailable due to necessary improvements being implemented.

Although system upgrades may cause temporary unavailability, it will ultimately lead to better public service.
The public was assured that the commission’s other social media platforms remained operational.
We expect the account to be functional soon as it is undergoing a simple update and not hacked.
NAN discovered on Thursday that the account page previously boasting more than two million followers displayed a message reading “Please try again later. The term you entered did not bring up any results.” However, it is worth noting that other social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, in addition to the EFCC website itself have remained operational despite this setback.
Account accessibility can be impacted by several factors, such as poor internet connectivity, cache problems, possible hacking attempts or violations of policies according to NAN.
