EFCC captures 20 alleged internet fraudsters in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reported that 20 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud were apprehended in Lugbe, Abuja.

The EFCC stated that these arrests were made based on reliable information regarding their alleged participation in online criminal activities.

The identities of the suspects have not been revealed as the anti-corruption agency is currently conducting additional inquiries.

Once the investigation is concluded, the suspects will be brought before a court of law to face charges.

Among the items seized from them were a vehicle, laptops, and mobile phones.
