EFCC Apprehends Bobrisky Over Alleged Currency Mutilation

The arrest of Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has caused a stir.

The EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed that Bobrisky was apprehended in Lagos on Wednesday night and is currently being held at the EFCC Lagos Office.

He will face charges in court. Bobrisky, a cross-dresser, has been involved in various controversies, including winning the “Best Dressed Female” Award at a movie premiere, which sparked outrage among many entertainers.

However, the Force Spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, stated that cross-dressing is not a crime in Nigeria, emphasizing the need for credible evidence before prosecuting individuals involved in such activities.
