According to Mr. Julius Abure, the Labour Party’s national chairman, the organisation is strategically positioned to win the governorship race for Edo State in 2024.
When Mr. Stephen Osemwegie, a party candidate for governor, paid a formal visit to the party headquarters in Abuja, Abure made this statement.
He declared that the party was dedicated to running a qualified candidate and that it would back any contender who would promote the advancement of the Edo people.
He said that because the party’s primary elections will be open, fair, and legitimate, a level playing field was guaranteed.
There is no denying that our nation is in desperate need of capable and excellent leaders with capacity and vision, as well as leaders who have what it takes to function effectively.
“Today, I am pleased that we are developing leaders and followers that share the goal to recover the nation, in particular Edo state.
“The Edo state governor’s race in 2024 will mark a significant turning point in the state’s history.
He said that his party has “strategically positioned itself to be the one that will assume control of Edo state.”
