Edo governorship election: APC reveals cost of nomination forms and primary schedule
The programme of events for Edo State’s September 21, 2024, gubernatorial election has been made public by the All Progressives Congress, or APC.
The APC’s schedule was made public on Monday by Sulaimon Argungu, National Organising Secretary.

The primary election is scheduled for February 17, and the paperwork for contestants to purchase nominations, declare interest, and delegates will be available starting on January 10 and ending on January 29, 2024.
Expressions of interest and nomination forms cost N10 million and N40 million, respectively, according to the APC. Female candidates and those with disabilities must pay for their expressions of interest, but nomination forms are free.
The APC declared, “Youths between the ages of 25 and 40 are to purchase expression of interest forms with a 50% discount on nomination forms.”
The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, has set November 16, 2024, for the governorship elections in Ondo and Edo States, according to Obasanjo News24.
