The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has dismissed the Commissioner for Health in the state named Dr. Samuel Alli with instant effect.
Osarodion Ogie, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Secretary to Edo State Government (SSG), made this announcement.

According to Ogie, the Commissioner for Health in Edo State, Dr. Samuel Alli, has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect by Governor Mr. Godwin Obaseki’s approval. He is required to transfer all government resources and documents within his jurisdiction to the highest-ranking civil servant at the Ministry of Health. His service is appreciated by the administration, which wishes him luck in future endeavors.”
