In the upcoming Edo election, Okpebholo promises to uphold and advance the development projects initiated by former Governor Oshiomhole, ensuring continued progress in the state.

Senator Monday Okpebholo, the All Progressives Congress candidate for Edo State’s September 21 governorship election, has promised to maintain former Governor Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s progress projects.

During the ward-to-ward campaign in Ovia North East Local Government Area of the state, Okpebholo asserted this statement as a member of APC.

If elected, he promised to rectify all the mistakes made by Governor Godwin Obaseki since 2016.

Okpebholo made a promise in Okada town to enhance the lives of residents by constructing high-quality schools and offering additional facilities that would bring development closer to their community.

“The administration of the APC, during my tenure, will construct high-quality educational institutions and offer additional facilities,” he remarked. “Residents in Okada won’t be disappointed for having voted me because I’ll make certain that all schools and medical clinics are staffed by qualified professionals.”

Denise Idahosa, the running mate of Okpebholo, implored Ovia residents to express gratitude towards APC for selecting their son as the candidate for deputy governorship.

He urged them to fully support APC for their vote, with an assurance that the state government would return late Captain Hosa Okunbo’s land back to his family.

According to him, the election will be conducted in adherence with the law and using Edo State Security Network to intimidate APC members at polling centers is beyond its jurisdiction.
