Ebi leaves Naija Ratels to join Israeli club, Bnot Netanya

Onome Ebi, a defender for the Naija Ratels, has joined Bnot Netanya of the Israeli Women’s Premier League.

Ebi paid an undisclosed sum to join the European team.

The captain of the Super Falcons appeared in three NWFL matches for the Naija Ratels.

After 15 years of playing overseas, the 40-year-old defender returned to the Naija Ratels at the beginning of the 2023–24 NWFL season.

In her maiden game with the Ratels against the Nasarawa Amazons, she recorded an assist.

Ebi has performed in China, Spain, and Belarus in the past.
