The All Progressives Congress, APC, has accepted the Ebeano political organisation that Senator Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, a former governor of Enugu State, founded.
The announcement was made on Tuesday in Enugu by Chief Emmanuel Okwor, Chairman of Ebeano.
A day after its leader, Chimaroke, announced his intention to leave the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the announcement was made.

The former Enugu governor was bemoaning his defeat to Labour Party, LP candidate Kelvin Chukwu for the Enugu East senatorial district seat.
In order to achieve good governance in the nation, the alliance with the APC is meant to strengthen the partnership with President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, according to Okwo.
He continued by saying that members of the “Ebeano” political family from all over the nation had been consulted and were in favour of the coalition’s promotion of the needs of the populace.
