As the results for the presidential, senate, and house of representatives elections were tallied at six significant voting places in Abuja’s NYSC Camp Ward, Kubwa, Bwari Local Government Area, the Labour Party established an early lead.
In polling units 004, 036, 037, 038, 039, and 040, it was noted that the Labour Party’s Peter Obi won the majority of the votes, followed by Ireti Kingibe for senator and Ireti Kingibe for the House of Representatives. This left the incumbent All Progressive Party, the Peoples Democratic Party, the African Democratic Party, and others scrambling for the remaining votes.
It was reported that there was a significant voter turnout in all six polling places, and they praised the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting the elections peacefully.
In certain polling places, particularly polling unit 004 which didn’t start too early, votes were still being counted at 8:25 p.m., even though voting had started between 8:30 and 9 a.m.
A total of 750 voters registered at Polling Unit 40, while 416 of those who were accredited cast their ballots.
In the presidential election, Obi received 384 votes, followed by Tinubu with 21 votes, Atiku with five, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian People’s Party with one, and the All Progressive Grand Alliance with one vote.
Kingibe received 376 votes in the Senate, knocking out FCT Senate landlord Phillip Aduda, who received 14. The senate candidate for the APC received 17 votes, while the APGA received two votes, the NNPP received one, and the Young People’s Party received one.
The Labour Party received 369 votes for the House of Representatives, while the APC, ADC, and PDP each received 19, 12, and 10 votes. The Social Democratic Party and YPP each received one vote.
At the 038 voting location, Obi Amassing sang the same victory song for the Labour Party. A total of 792 voters cast 341 votes, giving Tinubu 13 of them; the PDP, the NNPP, and the 08 received four each.

For the senatorial election, the Liberal Party received 310 votes, followed by the PDP with 40, the APC with 22, the NNPP with 14, the ADC with two, the SDP with two, the APGA with three, and six invalid votes.
The Labour Party received 280 votes for the House of Representatives, followed by the APC with 21, the NNPP with 7, the APGA with 2, the SDP with 1, the ADC with 18, the APGA with 5, the PDP with 50, and five votes that were deemed invalid.
APC and PDP only had 34 and 18 votes each, respectively, leaving Obi with a landslip victory.
At the PU 036, Obi received 341 votes, followed by Tinubu with 13 votes, Atiku with 8 votes, Kwankwaso with 4 votes, and the Zenith Labour Party with 3.
In addition, the LP received 328 votes for the Senate; PDP 22, APC 11, NNPP 4, All Progressives Grand Alliance 2, ZLP 3, and three votes were invalid.
The LP received 314 votes, followed by the PDP with 21, the APC with 14, the NNPP with 6, the African Democratic Congress with 4, the ZLP with 4, the APGA with 2, and five invalid votes.
In the presidential election at PU 037, the LP received 257 votes, followed by the APC with 27, the PDP with 20, the APGA with 1, and the Boot Party with 1. Thirteen votes were counted as invalid.
The LP won the Senate election with 228 votes, followed by the PDP with 45, the APC with 33, the APGA with 3, the NNPP with 3, the ADC with 1, the Allied Peoples Movement with 1, the National Rescue Movement with 1, and seven invalid votes.
The LP won the election for the House of Representatives with 232 votes, followed by the PDP with 46, the APC with 33, the APGA with two, the YPP with one, the ADC with three, the APM with one, and the three invalid votes with three.
At PU 039, the LP received 351 votes, followed by the APC with 19, the PDP with 7, the Boot Party with 2, the APGA with 1, and three invalid votes.
The LP candidate won the Senate race with 328 votes, followed by the PDP with 30, the APC with 15, the APGA with 6, the ADC with 1, the APM with 1, the NRM with 1, and the SDP with 1.
With 318 votes, the LP won the election for the House of Representatives, followed by PDP with 24, APC with 17, ADC with 17, APGA with one, SDP with one, YPP with one, Boot party with one, and NNPP with one.
