According to OBASANJO NEWS24, the former Rivers United defender Ebube Duru is nearly done with his move to Europe.
Due to the end of his contract with Rivers United, Duru is currently unattached.
The defender and the club are in advanced negotiations, according to Aljosa Alibegovic, the player’s agent.
He informed OBASANJO NEWS24 that talks to bring Duru on as a free agent had already begun.
In preparation for the transfer, he is training with a personal trainer.
In the previous campaign, the 24-year-old was included in the Nigeria Premier Football League squad of the year.
For the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone in June, Duru secured a spot on the Super Eagles.
