During the National Assembly, journalist collapses and passes away

Tijani Adeyemi, an Abuja-based journalist, collapsed at the National Assembly on Wednesday and passed away shortly after.

The deceased, a reporter for the Nigerian Tribune who covered the Senate, gasped for air and passed away before being taken to the clinic of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Following that, his remains were buried at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja in accordance with Islamic customs.

The late journalist, who was born on April 18, 1972, passed away at the age of 51, according to PlatinumPost.
