During operations in Ondo, Amotekun captures a group using hypnosis on its victims
Amotekun, which is also known as the Ondo State Security Network Agency, has caught a six-person gang that was known for drugging and hypnotising their targets during operations.
State Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Mr. Adetunji Adeleye, said that the suspects were caught after their hiding place was found.
Adeleye said that the arrest of the syndicate was one of the state’s successes in its effort to keep Yuletide free of crime.
He also said that his team had caught more criminals who were involved in rape, armed robbery, and kidnapping.

The gang “uses chemical material to spray the victims’ rooms, so they will sleep off; they will break the burglary, enter their homes, and dispose of their possessions while some of them are raped,” according to Adeleye, the Amotekun Commander.
They typically don’t have direct access to the victims; instead, they scale their fences to inject poisons into their rooms using a syringe.
“They will wait for perhaps 30 to 40 minutes, during which time everything in the room goes to sleep. Therefore, you are in the dark about everything they do.
He said that once the investigation is done, the suspects will be brought to court.
