According to the Department of State Services, Fredrick Nwajagu, the troubled Eze Igbo of Ajao Estate, Lagos State, will be transferred from the detention facility in Lagos to Abuja.
This information was provided by a security source at the DSS headquarters in Abuja, who requested anonymity since he was not authorised to talk on the subject.
He is in our custody in Lagos, as the source stated in an interview on Saturday night. He should be brought to Abuja, as expected. Perhaps he is not alone.

Recall that on Saturday, a mixed team of police officers and DSS agents apprehended Nwajagu during a raid.
The Igbo commander had been taken into custody, according to a source inside the Force who wished to remain anonymous.
When a team from the police and DSS arrived at his castle, he had already left. He was later located at a hotel in Ejigbo and detained, according to the source.
Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the state police, confirmed the arrest at the same time and said that the chief had been turned over to the DSS for further action due to his inciting remarks.

Nwajagu threatened to call members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra to protect Igbo property in the state in a now-viral video in which he spoke in a mix of Igbo and English.

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo International leadership in Lagos State responded by stating that Nwajagu’s remarks did not reflect the beliefs of the Igbo community in Lagos.
The arrested chief will be forced to face the music alone, according to the sociocultural group’s president, Solomon Ogbonna-Aguene, who also indicated he spoke out of interest.
“He (the Igbo leader) didn’t talk to any of us about his comments. He made the statements at his own will and in his own self-interest. Such a statement is not in line with Ohanaeze’s opinions.
Certain remarks shouldn’t be made by us as a sociocultural organisation, according to some. We are expected to remain nonpartisan.
“We disagree with what Chief Frederick stated. It is quite superfluous for him to state that he will bring IPOB to Lagos. No Igbo person would be in favour of such a plan. He will thus have to account for himself. I urged him to let go and face the consequences.
Ogbonna-Aguene said that it was unreasonable for Nwajagu to threaten inviting the organisation to Lagos because the Igbo people had not had it easy with IPOB even in the South-East.
“Then why would he mention it here in Lagos? He ought to have met with IPOB as himself, not as Eze Igbo, if he wanted to communicate with them. Ogbonna-Aguene questioned “who gave him the authority to speak on Igbo interests.”
When contacted, Mr. Omega Lawrence, the Head of the Supreme Council of the Ndi-Eze in Lagos State, said that Nwajagu was not an Eze in Lagos.
