DSS assaults the EFCC office in Lagos and prevents officials from entering the building

According to reports, agents of the Department of State Service, DSS, are preventing officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from entering their office in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Tuesday, a source impacted by the development revealed this to OBASAJONEWS24.

“We arrived at the office on Tuesday morning to find the office gate blocked by DSS agents,” he explained.

The DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, did not respond to inquiries requesting comment on the matter.

Similarly, the EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, has not yet responded to OBASAJONEWS24’s inquiry.

According to reports, the two organizations have been at odds over the possession of the building.

At the time of composing this report, all EFCC employees at the Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, office were denied access to the building by DSS agents.
