Officials from the Department of State Services (DSS) have apprehended an individual suspected of buying votes in the Ondo governorship election.
The suspect was apprehended with two bags of money believed to be intended for voter inducement in the election.
He was taken into custody at Ward 4, Polling Unit 007, located outside St. Stephen’s Primary School in Akure, Ondo State, around 9 am on election day.
