His assistant has been freed, according to Pastor Tomi Arayomi of RIG Nation and Pioneer Church in the UK.
Remember that on Friday, the Directorate for State Services (DSS) detained Pastor Tomi, his wife, and their assistant.
The three people were detained on suspicion of being on the DSS radar because of a sermon the priest purportedly gave in public.
Tomi’s wife and other family members were already released and had left the country, but the DSS still held custody of Tomi’s assistant.
Tomi, on the other hand, stated in a tweet on Monday that his Aide is secure and that he is dedicated to helping Nigeria.
Pastor Tomi captioned a photo of himself and his wife, gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan, with the following: “We were talking on the phone for over an hour without realising we were staying at the same hotel.
Let me simply say that everyone is safe, including my assistant, and that our commitment to helping Nigeria is stronger than ever.
