Dropping charms in the courtroom is discouraged by the Judge, who warns the attendees
A judge at the Ikeja High Court has issued a warning to visitors not to bring charms into his courtroom.
As the trial of five people accused of killing one Ifeanyi Etunmuse began on Monday, Justice Hakeem Oshodi gave the warning.
“Charms have no place in my courtroom. It must not be done again. After the last postponed date in the homicide case, a talisman was discovered, he stated.
Referring to the charm as “property,” the judge cautioned the court audience, saying, “Do not leave your property here again.” It is currently inoperable.
Atunrase Omolabi, Shittu Olawale, Olaide Opeifa, Olanrewaju Adebiyi nicknamed Maja, and Jamiu Omosanya aka Orobo are the five suspects that the Lagos state government has filed charges against.
At Western Funeral Home, Ijede Ikorodu, they were accused of murder and attempted murder of Etunmuse.
