Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has appealed to the Minister of Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, not to cause political unrest in the state.

Wike had suggested that political instability could be fomented in the state governed by lawmakers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who are allies of Rivers State Governor, Sim Hubara.

Speaking at an Ijaw World Congress reception held in honour of Wike in Port Harcourt on Saturday, Makinde urged the Minister of Capital Territory not to “stoke the fire” in Oyo State.
