Following DNA testing, 44-year-old Olanrewaju Kolawole learned he is not the biological father of any of his four children and has made a plea to Nigerians for assistance.
Kolawole, an Ikire native living in Osun State’s Irewole Local Government Area, made the plea on Friday while taking part in the Kokoro Alate radio programme on Agidigbo 88.7 FM in Ibadan, which is hosted by Oriyomi Hamzat.
Reports state that the DDC DNA Diagnostic Centre in Osogbo conducted the DNA test.
As our correspondent watched the magazine programme, the 44-year-old man broke down in tears as the results of the DNA test showed that none of his four children were his biological children.
It was learned that Kolawole wed Toyin Tella in 2007 and the two of them “produced” four children.
On Friday, the couple’s appearance on a radio programme exposed the paternity fraud case.
Speaking at the time, Kolawole mentioned that the first child’s DNA test had shown that the child was not his.

He continued by saying that the three additional kids he tested later on all came out negative.
He declared, “I must not suffer this in vain, so I beg Nigerians to come to my help. In 2007, Toyin and I got married, and we had four kids. Despite the results of a DNA test, none of the four children she gave birth to are mine.
Even though she reacted, Mrs. Tella Toyin didn’t agree with the outcome.
She claimed that she was not present when the sample was taken and that she was unaware of which samples had been taken.
“I reject the outcome. Since I wasn’t present when the samples were taken and I’m not sure which sample they collected, I can’t accept it. I am unable to accept it as I am aware of how I conceived those children.
