Baba Tee, the actor and comedian, has expressed his willingness to accept a child that is not biologically his, regardless of the DNA test results.
The issue of DNA testing has sparked a debate among Nigerians due to recent cases of paternity fraud.
In an interview with TVC, Baba Tee attributed the high rate of paternity fraud in the country to various factors, including poor upbringing and lack of sexual satisfaction. He firmly stated that the responsibility for paternity fraud lies solely with the woman, emphasizing that the man cannot be blamed for the woman’s actions, regardless of his own influence.
However, Baba Tee mentioned that he would be willing to accept a child that is not his own if his partner shows genuine remorse for cheating.
He emphasized that women should not use domestic violence or infidelity as an excuse for paternity fraud, and instead encouraged them to leave a marriage if they are being mistreated. Personally, Baba Tee stated that he is willing to forgive a woman who cheats on him if she shows remorse, and he would treat the child as his own.
