District head fired by Adamawa Emirate Council after Ribadu incident

Gidado Abubakar, the District Head of Ribadu in the Fufore Local Government Area, has been sacked by the Adamawa Emirate Council.

This is stated in a letter that the acting secretary of the emirate, Kabiru Bakari, signed and addressed to the district head.

“The Adamawa Emirate Council has instructed me to write and inform you that the governor of Adamawa State has approved of your termination.

The letter stated, “You are to hand over to the Acting Secretary, Adamawa Emirate Council, Yola, accordingly, all official documents in your possession, including your Identity Card.”
