The All Progressives Congress, or APC, is not something that Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom is considering doing once he leaves office.
As a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ortom, however, promised to support and work for Bola Tinubu, the president-elect.
The governor pledged to keep up the fight for justice and equality in Nigeria during a Wednesday appearance on Arise Television’s Morning Show.
In order to achieve equality and justice, Ortom said he tried to establish a southern presidential system.
“That is not on my table, I’m in the PDP, and I worked for the Southern presidency, which Tinubu and Obi were a part of,” he said. I am not currently considering defecting.
“I’ll keep praying for Tinubu to be successful if he gets sworn in.
I’ll keep pushing for justice and equality in Nigeria while still serving as the PDP’s leader in Benue State.
