Dino prevails in the Kogi PDP primary for governor

Dino Melaye, a former senator from Kogi West, has won the Kogi State governorship primary for the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP.

The returning officer announced on Sunday that Dino had won.

Against Idoko Ilonah, who received 124 votes, he received 313 votes.

Others, Musa Wada received 56 votes, compared to 77 for Awoniyi Sunday.

Usman Ododo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the election, will be the former lawmaker’s opponent.
