Dessers passed over by Rangers for Player of the Season recognition

Cyriel Dessers, the Super Eagles striker, has unfortunately been excluded from the five-man shortlist for the highly esteemed Player of the Season Award by Scottish giants Rangers.

Despite his impressive performance throughout the season, where he has managed to score a remarkable total of 17 goals in various competitions for the club, including 13 goals in the league, one in the league cup, one in the FA Cup game, and one each in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League games.

However, there is a silver lining for Dessers as one of his goals, a breathtaking solo effort during a thrilling Europa League clash against Real Betis, has been recognized and shortlisted for the Goal of the Season Award.
