The Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State has pointed fingers at the ruling All Progressives Congress for the economic challenges faced by the state and the nation as a whole.
According to the State Publicity Secretary, Raphael Adeyanju, the recent Workers’ Day celebration in Ekiti State was devoid of joy due to the failure of the ruling party to cater to the needs of the masses.
Civil servants and retirees in Ekiti State are said to be facing one of the worst conditions in the country, with meager payments that do little to alleviate their suffering.

The PDP representative highlighted the current fuel scarcity, high cost of living, and general insecurity as major issues plaguing the state, making life unbearable for the citizens.
Governor Biodun Oyebanji was also criticized for his alleged misplaced priorities, focusing on projects that do not directly benefit the people while the population struggles with poverty and inadequate infrastructure.
