The All Progressives Congress (APC) has gained a new member in the form of former Senate President, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, who was welcomed by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu.
This move is seen as a positive development for the south east region and Nigeria as a whole, with Kalu expressing confidence that Anyim’s decision to join the ruling party will contribute to progress and development in the country.
Anyim’s defection to the APC was marked by a public event in Ebonyi State, where he made his decision known.
