The constable of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, led a party of government representatives visited the Zangon Kataf LGA on Wednesday to offer condolences to the locals following the tragic deaths there.
Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, while denouncing the killings, stated that they were in the area to express the sympathies of Governor Nasir el-Rufai and the state’s whole populace to the Agwatyp, HRH Dominic Gambo Yahaya, and the bereaved families.
She said that the state administration has been collaborating closely with security services to identify individuals responsible for the enigmatic deaths and heinous property devastation.

She said that she had ordered the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to carry out a prompt evaluation and offer aid to the impacted residents.
In reply, HRH Dominic Gambo Yayaha thanked the Deputy Governor and the Kaduna State government for the visit and expressed regret over the brutal acts, which he called disturbing.
He also expressed regret that the incident occurred during a time of largely tranquil conditions and in the middle of numerous sincere initiatives to foster peaceful cohabitation among all residents of the chiefdom.
