Dele Momodu slams Tinubu, saying he has not done well, as the EndBadGovernance protests continue to highlight issues.
Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation magazine, has criticized the conspiracy theories surrounding Nigeria’s #EndBadGovernance protests.
On Friday, Momodu tweeted that there was no instigation from anyone or anything.
During his discussion with a ‘Tinubu apologist’, the media expert cleared the Igbo of any responsibility or culpability.
In his writing, Momodu stated that he received a message promoting an insidious conspiracy theory from one of Tinubu’s supporters earlier in the day. He responded by firmly denouncing the claim as nothing more than a baseless attempt to defame someone using underhanded tactics. Additionally, there is widespread dissatisfaction among citizens due to their deprivation while those who hold authority live extravagantly.
The Igbo people are predominantly involved in trade and take care of their own affairs on a global scale. There was no instigation from any party or source.
“It is disingenuous to try and ethnicize the protests by using the Igbo as scapegoats. Instead, we should acknowledge that Tinubu’s performance has not been satisfactory.”
