Defection of PDP and LP members to APC in Ebonyi
A group of individuals from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) have made the decision to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ndufu Alike ward, located in the Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The defectors were warmly received at Ndufu Alike junction by Chinedu Ogah, the representative of Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, who expressed his appreciation for their decision to join the ruling party.
He also commended the party leaders in the ward for their dedication and contributions to the party’s success. Chinedu Ogah, the lawmaker, assured the defectors that they would be included and valued within the APC.
He encouraged the residents of Ndufu Alike ward to continue supporting the effective governance of Governor Francis Nwifuru in Ebonyi State.

The defectors, in their individual speeches, expressed their dissatisfaction with their former parties, PDP and Labour Party, stating that they were weak in the state.
They pledged to work diligently to strengthen the APC’s presence at the grassroots level.
The event was attended by several notable individuals, including Hon. Uchenna Nwanchor, the ward Chairman of the APC, Hon. Osita Ogidi Ali, the Coordinator, Apostle Emmanuel Mbam, the Ward Councillor, Hon. Sunday Nworie, and the Women leader, Nweke Elizabeth, among others.
The presence of these influential figures further emphasized the significance of the defection and highlighted the growing support for the ruling party in Ndufu Alike ward.
