Declan Rice, an Arsenal midfielder, has warned Manchester City that his squad will offer “absolutely everything” on Sunday when they square off in a Premier League match.

Rice issued the warning following Tuesday’s 2-1 Champions League loss by Lens to Arsenal.

After Arsenal’s Champions League encounter against Lens, Rice stated, “We are 10 games into the season, and there are still 50 to go.”

The England international stated, “We are just warming up and getting into our rhythm, but our full focus turns back to the league and it’s a huge game on Sunday.”

“Every game is significant, and Man City is a significant game. Without a doubt, we’ll be ready for anything.

“It’s nice that we played them earlier in the year [in the Community Shield]. On Sunday, we’ll give it our absolute best effort. We’ll be fighting for 90 minutes, and maybe we’ll win.

We really outplayed [Lens] in terms of the ball, but both boxes were crucial, he continued. They scored two excellent goals, and we were unable to exploit their back five.

With one point separating them from league-leading Manchester City, Arsenal is now in third place in the Premier League table.
