Dayo Adeneye: Female Fans Frequently Faint at 2Baba Concerts
Dayo Adeneye reveals that female audience members often faint at 2Baba’s concerts. Discover the star power and impact of 2Baba’s performances.
Dayo ‘D1’ Adeneye, a music executive, claimed that women swoon when the talented musician once known as 2Face and now referred to as 2Baba takes the stage.
During his appearance on the “Deep Dive” podcast with comedian Teju Babyface, Adeneye recounted the incident where four women fainted at a concert in Ivory Coast while 2Baba was performing.
According to the music executive, who previously directed 2Baba’s record label Kennis Music, there were more than fifty artists under its radar during its peak.

He said that during the peak of Kennis Music, they had a roster of more than 50 artists including Lagbaja and spanning various genres like gospel, hip-hop, and fuji.
At a few shows we’ve attended, I witnessed girls fainting while 2Face was performing. On my Ivory Coast tour, I invited a girl on stage who proceeded to hug him and then collapsed into unconsciousness. At that particular concert, four other young ladies also fainted.
Although English wasn’t their native language, these individuals had every lyric of 2Face’s songs memorized. During the performance in a French-speaking nation, four girls collapsed – we initially assumed it was playful exaggeration but an ambulance was required to transport them away. It seems as if just being near 2Face caused them to faint!
