The Afrobeats musician Davido has abandoned his effort to assist a physically unable man who was passing for a lady.

After Brain Jotter, the creator of the skit, posted a video of their interaction, the hawker known as Eniola began to receive notice.

Brain Jotter claimed that he discovered the street vendor is actually a cosmetics artist during their chat.

He was moved by Eniola’s predicament and made the decision to lend a hand by funding the hawker’s account with N400,000.

Eniola disclosed that she moved to Lagos in order to make ends meet, despite being originally from Osun state.

Davido used X to respond to the video and alerted his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun, about Eniola. He also inquired as to where she was.

Adeleke stated in response to Davido’s post that he has “directed my office” to contact Eniola.

In order to help Eniola “in advancing her education or improving her makeup skills,” the governor promised to help.

Soon after, a blogger asserted that Sultan, the hawker, is a man who poses as a woman to trick others into giving him money.

It is regrettable that Nigerians fell for this hoax. A male named Sultan poses as a woman, according to the group of people who previously assisted the crippled woman mentioned by the blogger.

Jotter also conveyed his dissatisfaction with the vendor.

In response to the revelation of Eniola’s true identity, Davido requested that the governor of Osun “abort mission.”

“We did an excellent job, guys! He posted on X, “They say nah man, ABORT MISSION.”

Eniola recently discussed his motivation for disguising himself as a woman with TheCable Lifestyle.
