Nigerian music sensation and entrepreneur, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has recently announced a groundbreaking partnership with UnitedMasters to establish his new record label, Nine+ Records.
This collaboration will see Davido taking the lead in artist development and A&R for a roster of talented Nigerian musicians, marking a significant milestone in his career and the local music industry as a whole.
As part of this strategic move, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), his previous record label, has officially been disbanded.

In a social media post on Saturday, Davido confirmed that all artists currently under DMW will be transitioning to Nine+, signaling a new chapter for these talents under his guidance and mentorship.
Among the notable artists who will be making the move from DMW to Nine+ Records are Dremo, Yonda, Peruzzi, Idowest from Lagos Island, DJ Ecool, Danagog, B-Red, Deekay, May D, Deinde, Ayanfe, Liya, Morravey, SayTheyCallMESG, and Logos Olori.
This transition not only consolidates Davido’s position as a key player in the Nigerian music scene but also underscores his commitment to nurturing and promoting local talent on a global scale.
