David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, is a Nigerian Afrobeats musician. He responded to criticism from his colleague Portable for reportedly offering him “bad advice” during a recent dinner in the US.
According to the Obasanjonews.com, Portable recently bemoaned the fact that Davido, who signed with Sony Music, had recommended him not to deal with the label and to instead sign with Empire.
The “Zazu” crooner accused foul play, claiming that although the DMW chairman is encouraging him to sign with a label that might not affect his chances of winning a Grammy, he is also hoping to win one like Davido.

In response, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram.
The DMW boss has now unfollowed Portable, according to a Thursday night visit to their own Instagram pages.
Earlier, Portable had voiced concerns about someone attempting to set Davido up against him.
He claims that despite people’s “pushing,” he declined to spar with Davido as the DMW CEO had previously supported him.
