Afrobeats singer and Nigerian David Adeleke, or Davido, revealed that Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa, buys two automobiles every eight years.
In a recent interview with Forbes, the Omo Baba Olowo singer made this revelation.
He talked about the friendship between his family and Dangote, adding that his millionaire father, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, is friends with the richest black person in the world.
He acknowledged that every time they spoke, Dangote had urged him to put money aside.
“Uncle Aliko [Dangote] is a very different type of billionaire,” Davido remarked. Every eight years, Uncle Aliko buys two cars at most. He is an extremely disciplined and unique type of billionaire.
He just ever says, “Save your money!,” whenever I meet him. He doesn’t say anything else but to always save your money. He and my father have long-standing friendships.
As for us Nigerians back home, Dangote has done well. He provided us with numerous industries. He recently inaugurated Africa’s largest plant. That is creating jobs.
