Hillary Odia, a broadcaster from Edo State, was tragically killed by cultists on Christmas Eve. The incident occurred in Benin City, specifically around 2nd East Circular.

The Edo State Police Command has confirmed the incident and has already made several arrests of secret cult members from various groups.

These suspects will soon face prosecution for their involvement in the crime. The Nigeria Union of Journalists in the state has called on security agencies, particularly the Nigeria Police Force, to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding Odia’s murder.

The union also expressed their condolences and prayed for the repose of his soul. They encouraged Odia’s family to find comfort in the knowledge that he will be remembered for his positive contributions to history.
