Due to growing concerns about insecurity in the Southeast, socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, moved his business from the Southeast to Lagos.
The famous barman stated in a recent interview with BBC Igbo that he had to leave the southeast because his regular customers from the East were scared of being kidnapped and killed.

He bemoaned the fact that members of the community were giving information to criminals, going after the wealthy, and driving them out as a result of the general hunger and envy among South Easterners.
